About

An independent practice, built around measurable results

Ronin Consultants is the trade name of Ronin Management Consultants LLC — the independent consulting practice of Rocky Joshee, based in the greater Seattle area.

The practice

Ronin Consultants works with mid-market and enterprise teams — most often Microsoft-ecosystem organizations running an active transformation, integration, or divestiture program — that need an experienced consultant who can operate at program and director level without the overhead or politics of a large firm.

The work is engaged on a 1099 independent basis. In practice that means senior, hands-on involvement, a direct and honest read on what the data shows, and engagements scoped to a defined outcome rather than to billable hours.

The name signals the model: independent and self-directed, accountable directly to the client.

Areas of depth

  • Business process and operations — diagnosing and rebuilding the processes that carry operational performance, measured against evidence.
  • Data and analytics leadership — KPI design, Power BI architecture, and data governance aligned to DAMA-DMBOK and ISO 8000.
  • Telecom and MVNO operations — operations leadership and program management across integration and divestiture work.
  • Microsoft ecosystem and modernization — Microsoft 365, cloud transformation, and legacy modernization tied to business outcomes.
  • AI enablement and governance — practical adoption of AI in real workflows, with the guardrails that keep it accountable.
  • Executive program management — program oversight, war-room operations, and cross-functional delivery.

How the work is delivered

Every engagement is run to a consistent standard. Deliverables lead with the recommendation, carry a cost-benefit framing, pair every risk with a treatment, and end with a decision to make or a defined next step. Recommendations map to recognized frameworks — COBIT, DAMA-DMBOK, ISO 8000, ITIL 4, TOGAF — where that adds rigor and a shared language.

The result is consulting output an executive can act on directly: structured, evidenced, and honest about the trade-offs.
